1. Typical strong ale around 5% - Abbot Ale is a good example
2. Bitter, fruity beer, usually between 4 and 5%. Yorkshire style bitter but one in which you can taste the hops. Yorkshire Terrier and Daleside Old Legover are good examples, as well as Landlord.
