When we went acoustic as a live act our fans really missed Stuck Up, which can't really be played on a 12 string. It's back in the set with this guitar which also has the advantage of a thin, narrow neck. Washburn X40 Pro this has the full tone, great sound and ease of play that I found so important with my previous Washburn. Washburn after 17 years of live and studio work, being smashed and repaired twice this axe is truly burned out. Korg A5 despite being around 14 years old this unit is still much sought after. It is very easy to programme and has an excellent distorted sound. Zoom 505 II Used on Ignite, this unit produces a smoother distortion and has a greater range of effects. Bass  Effects - Pablo used the Boss GT6 Effects Processor on this album.  Drums ( I borrowed the studio's kit as it was way better than mine - Joe ) Whiskey bottles - when struck together with considerable force these produce a smashing sound with a nice sharp treble. This was used to create the pub brawl in the romantic classic 'Michelle.' A half brick, known locally as a 'half Charlie' or 'Irish confetti.' Bottles smashed against this produce a smash that is very middley. Good old Yorkshire stone completes the frequency range and produces a smash with a good gritty bass. |
