The Band

Naked Flames were first formed in 1990 when Mick and Diablo were studying at Leeds College of Music. They were joined by Joe and bass player Alan Dawson. They played many major venues until 1995 when Mick could not continue due to family commitments. The band reformed in 2002 to record their debut album Ignite. It was so much fun recording the album that they discovered a flair for comedy, and found the perfect niche. Naked Flames are a very dedicated band financing and producing their music themselves.

Joe Miller joined Naked Flames as a drummer. When the band split in 1995 Joe toured extensively with many other bands, not only as a drummer but lead vocalist as well. This experience, as well as a natural talent for acting and comedy, made Joe the obvious choice for frontman when the band reformed in 2002. Joe also writes the website.

Mick Miller is the guitarist and songwriter for Naked Flames. It was his fire-breathing act that gave the band it's name. In 2002 Mick started writing songs tailored to Joe's sense of humour and it was the perfect match.

Diablo Paparazzo studied classical and rock guitar at Leeds College of Music up until 1990 when he and Mick started Naked Flames. Originally the lead guitarist, Diablo is also a very experienced bass player and he switched to this role in 2002

Busted We hired our drummer after he left his former life as drummer for teen-pretend-punk "band" Busted as he felt his flesh wasn't getting enough exposure.

This is the sort of album that will sell a few copies, but get passed around factory floors and schoolyards, and end up being listened to by millions!
