| Food | Beers tried | Tasting Notes |
| Curry | Young's Waggledance | The best by a bit.
Smooth honey beer really complements the spiciness |
| | Marston Owd Roger | Dark, rich, sweet and strong,
this also was a good accompaniment |
| | Timothy Taylor Landlord | Well, it was Landlord.
It neither complemented nor clashed - it just tasted of the great
beer that I love! |
| | Weissbier | Kinda brought out a maltiness in the
beer which isn't usually apparent when drinking Weissbier. |
| | Shepherd Neame Kentish Ale | This was an
unoffensive beer that was a nice drink to accompany the curry. It
didn't complement the food the way the Waggledance did-the flavour of
the beer got a bit lost, but it was a nice drink to have with the
food |
| | Moorhouse's Pendle Witches Brew | This really
didn't go at all. It made the beer taste sour |
| | Black Sheep Monty Python Holy Grail Ale | A bit
like the Landlord this one - it was quite a strong taste on it's own |
| | Sam Smith's Pale Ale | This was a nice
accompaniment to the food, but not spectacular |
